Meet Karsten
I'm Karsten Foley, a passionate and competitive league bowler who loves the challenge of improving my game and crushing pins. Over the years, I've competed in five different bowling leagues, gaining experience, confidence, and a deeper love for the sport with every season.
My bowling journey has been filled with milestones I'm proud of. In my very first league, I bowled my first 200 game after only 15 games, proving that hard work and determination pay off. During my second league season, I reached another major achievement by rolling my first 600 series. Along the way, I've earned Player of the Week honors seven times, recognizing both strong performances and dedication to improvement.
I'm known as a power curve-ball bowler, bringing speed, hook, and intensity to every shot. When I step onto the approach, my goal is simple: attack the pocket, drive through the pins, and leave as little standing as possible. Whether I'm competing with teammates, chasing personal bests, or working toward bigger goals, I'm always looking for the next opportunity to raise my average and take my game to the next level.
From AMF Peoria to Bowlero Avondale
Before making Bowlero Avondale my home bowling center, I spent my early bowling years at AMF Peoria Lanes. AMF Peoria is where my bowling journey truly began and where I learned the fundamentals of the sport. It was the center where I developed my release, improved my accuracy, learned lane play, and gained valuable league experience.
Many of my earliest bowling memories were made at AMF Peoria. It was there that I discovered my passion for competition and began setting goals for myself as a league bowler. The experience I gained bowling at AMF Peoria helped build the foundation for the bowler I am today.
As my bowling journey continued, I eventually transitioned to Bowlero Avondale, where I currently compete and continue to improve my game. While Bowlero Avondale is now my home center, I'll always appreciate AMF Peoria for being the place where my love for bowling started and where I first began chasing strikes, personal records, and league success.

Both centers have played an important role in my bowling journey, helping me grow from a new league bowler into a competitive power curve-ball bowler who is always striving to improve and achieve new milestones on the lanes.
